Saying Goodbye (2023)
With my daughter Imogen and my son Piers, I was able to be with my beautiful sister Theresa Moore, for the last days of her life.
She died on Monday, but it was amazing to be with her in the hospital, morning and afternoon, until we had to fly back to Europe on the Sunday evening. Poor Theresa was drugged to the hilt in her final hours, and rarely woke up, but just as I was saying goodbye to her, asleep, she woke up and said "Michael" as though it was a delightful surprise to see me, before falling back to sleep.
Once there were 4 brothers and sisters. Now only the oldest is still alive.
